First of all I would like to introduce myself. I’m Maugo, I’m Polish although Mallorcan of adoption. On May 1st, I’ve joined Zoea Mallorca Diving Center’s team. I’m completely turned over my former labour life, wich was sitting down behind a desk hipnotized by my computer. Diving world is very new, interesting and fascinating for me. And all of this “because of” Luis, director of the Center. He made me discover the beauty of the underwater world. Let us not forget my colleagues, that each day help maintain this interest and desire to dive. From day one I feel I’m part of a family.
To find out what Scubadiving looks like, you have to experience it yourself. So I started the Open Water Diver course. The first day I felt like an octopus in a trunk… Wetsuit, BCD, regulator, air tank, mask… Good! it’s very heavy! And then with the entire equipment on, plouff!!! Not everything went as expected (bloody mask…), but with the dedication of my instructor and myself confidence, obviously, I’ve cleared… a mask. As in the past, Rome wasn’t built in a day, so with a patience and dedication I will find Nemo!
I’ll drop lines once in a while. I’ll be informing you of my experiences and will keep on searching for Nemo.
